SO, What Ramdoss says?

PMK founder Dr Ramdoss has by his vociferus speech in the general council meet in Chennai on June 20, 2008, has closed the chances for any reconciliation with DPA alliance led by DMK in Tamilnadu.
Though Chief Minister Karunanidhi was willing to reconsider his party's decision to sever the ties with PMK if Kaduvetti Guru and Ramdoss expressed regret for the speech of Guru to kill the Union Minister Raja and Andimadam MLA Sivasankar, Ramdoss was in no mood to accept the offer.
His main contention was that the issue was settled 3 months before. But neither he nor any of his party colleagues have denied about Mr Guru's speech. So, it is true that the gentleman Guru had threatened to kill Raja and Sivasankar. Though it happened 6 months earlier, TN police has not arrested Guru for the simple reason that he is notorius in that area and he is close to Ramdoss.
Even Ramdoss has accepted in a statement issued last week that the issue was settled in March itself. What does it mean? If a person from alliance party issues death warning to anybody he can be pardoned if both leaders accept. Is this the rule of law? Will the police allow any individual to go scot free if he threatens anybody?
How dare Ramdoss justifies Guru speech who had threatened to kill Union Minister and sitting MLA. What do politicians think? Do they feel people are idiots?
What the government is doing? What is the role of Police? Don't they have responsibility to ensure equal justice to all?
The irony is the department comes under CM's portfolio. How can he say that govt would take action if any IAS official gives complaint?
Is it not the responsiblity of the govt to nab such persons to ensure public peace. CM has the required primafacie evidence in the form of C.D. And Ramdoss himself has accepted through his speech that Guru had spoken it.
Then what prevents Police to take action?

community colleges in TNOU
THE Tamil Nadu Government has passed a Government Order (GO) recognising the community colleges under the Tamil Nadu Open University here on Tuesday.
The announcement would encourage the establishment of community colleges and take steps for their integration with the university system, by providing vertical mobility to those who complete their study in the community colleges.
The community college system was aimed at empowerment of the disadvantaged through appropriate skills development, leading to gainful employment thus making a qualitative difference in the lives of the urban poor, rural poor, tribal poor and women in collaboration with local industrial establishments and potential employee voluntary organizations.

Ramdoss in trouble
Dr Ramdoss, founder of PMK in Tamilnadu is in trouble now, as DMK had opted to close DPA's door to his party in the State. This was because of the unruly words uttered by his partyman Kaduvetti Guru in its executive committee meeting. Though Ramdoss claims that the issue was settled between him and the CM three months before. But he has not denied the threatening by his man to kill the Union Minister A. Raja and local Member of Legislative Assembly Sivasankar.
When a common man threatens somebody police will arrest him immediately. But for political reasons Tamilnadu police has not initiated any action against Kaduvetti Guru even after six months.
Now Ramdoss believes he can find a slot in AIADMK front led by former Chief Minister and iron lady Jayalalithaa. But her party sources indicate that she wants to teach a lesson to Ramdoss by leaving him in lurch.
When the panchayat elections were over, Ramdoss blamed DMK saying that its cadres had betrayed PMK. At that time he mentioned that the cadres of AIADMK were good and only the two persons (Jaya and Sasikala) were bad.
This had irritated Jaya which is a block now to accomodate him in AIADMK front.
It is understtod that Jaya has nothing to loose in the Loksabha election. So, she may not be so serious to forge alliance. If Ramdoss is left alone his vote share will come down to around five percent, as most of his earlier vote bank has been eroded by actor turned politician Vijayakanth.
Once Ramdoss loses ground, Jaya can take commanding seat in forging alliance for 2011 election. Then he can not insist on number of seats. He has to take whatever Jaya offers.
As of now, though Ramdoss poses as brave, he is in the midst of political storm in the State.
